WEST END, N.C. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for third place at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational played Sunday and Monday at Seven Lakes Country Club. The Warriors finished eighth at the 11-team tournament.
WLC totaled a two-day tournament score of 338-325--663. Carnegie Mellon topped the 11-team field with a 312-302--614. Jay Saluja of Carnegie Mellon earned medalist honors by one stroke with a 76-74--150.
Tanzi turned in a third-place finish in the 68-player field for Wisconsin Lutheran with a 77-76--153. The sophomore finished the tournament three shots back of first place with four birdies and recorded an eagle on the 255-yard, par-4 hole No. 1 today.

Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 36th with an 85-81--166 and junior
Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) was 49th with an 87-83--170. Freshman
Carter Gault (Holmen, Wis.) tied for 54th with an 89-85--174, and junior
Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) was 58th with an 89-88--177.
The Warriors will next compete at the Elmhurst Spring Invite on April 9 at Oak Brook Golf Club in Oak Brook, Illinois.
