WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Senior
Lexi Martin (Westfield, Ind.) surpassed 200 career hits, but Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a Northern Athletics Collegaite Conference doubleheader to Aurora by scores of 6-1 and 8-1 on Tuesday at Neumann Family Field.
After two quick scoreless innings in game one, the Spartans (19-8, 8-6 NACC) scored three unearned runs on just one hit in the third inning for a three-run lead. The Warriors (9-17, 5-7 NACC) got a run back in the bottom of the inning when Martin's two-out single to right center drove in junior
Olivia Krieser (Stoughton, Wis.). AU added two runs in the fourth on a RBI groundout and bunt single for a 5-1 lead. Aurora plated its final run in the sixth on a two-out, run-scoring single.
