CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College capped its regular season schedule with a 9-0 loss to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champion Illinois Tech on Sunday at XS Tennis Center.
The Warriors (5-11, 3-4 NACC) were swept for the first time this season in conference play by the Scarlet Hawks (10-9, 7-0 NACC). IIT took a 3-0 lead over WLC after doubles play. Senior

Zadic Torline (Shawnee, Kan.) dropped a close 8-5 battle at No. 2 against Jordan Lauer and Avneet Singh.
Illinois Tech came out ahead in straight sets at all six singles positions. Halvorsen put up a fight at No. 5, but came up short 6-2, 6-3 to Eduardo Lopez.Â
Fifth-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran opens NACC Tournament First Round action on Tuesday, April 30 at fourth-seeded St. Norbert. First serve is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Green Bay Tennis Center in De Pere. The Green Knights knocked off the Warriors 7-2 in their lone regular season matchup on April 7.
