AURORA, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fourth out of 10 teams at the 2023-2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Championship which wrapped up Monday at Stonebridge Country Club.
The Warriors, who entered the final two rounds of competition in sixth place after a 329-337--666, leaped Lakeland and Benedictine after closing the final two rounds with a 325-319--644. Aurora won its seventh straight NACC title with a four-round total of 1,182, distancing itself from second-place St. Norbert by 63 shots. Aurora's Jack Vercautren earned medalist honors by two strokes after firing an even-par 288 across the four rounds.

Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) and sophomore
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for 11th with a 322. Gnewikow carded a team tournament-low 75 on Sunday, while Tanzi fired personal tournament-low 77 on Monday.

Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.), whose 79 on Monday was a four-round low, was 14th with a 332. Freshman
Carter Gault (Holmen, Wis.), who shot a personal tournament-low 81 on Monday, was 19th with a 336. Sophomore
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) tied for 32nd with a 349, including a four-round best 84 on Sunday.
WLC wraps up its spring season on Friday with the Edgewood Spring Quadrangular at Bishops Bay Country Club in Middleton.
