RALEIGH, N.C. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College cracked the win column in its second game of the season on Saturday, defeating North Carolina Wesleyan 4-1 at Meredith Track & Field Complex.
The Warriors (1-1-0) received scoring contributions from four different players in their win over the Battling Bishops (0-2-0).

Ava Zarling (Richfield, Wis.) tallied her first collegiate goal in the 16th minute off an assist from senior
Ella Miller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) for a 1-0 WLC lead.

Morgan Bluhm (New Berlin, Wis.) recorded her first career goal in the 34th minute, with an assist from freshman
Ginny Shade (Thornton, Colo.), for a 2-0 halftime advantage.
Miller made the score 3-0 in favor of Wisconsin Lutheran in the 62nd minute with an unassisted goal. Freshman
Payton Schiebel (St. Charles, Minn.) capped the scoring in the 75th minute with her first collegiate score, aided by freshman
Joleigh Blahnik (De Pere, Wis.). NCW avoided a shutout in the 88th minute with its lone goal.
The Warriors doubled-up North Carolina Wesleyan in shots 14-7, including 9-3 in shots on goal. Shade and
Morgan Bluhm tied for a match-high with three shots apiece. Freshman
Sam Schroeder (Brookfield, Wis.) stopped one shot without allowing a goal in nearly 75 minutes of action for her first victory.
