Ava Zarling (Jackson, Wis.) boasted a brace for the second straight game and four other players found the back of the net to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College to a 6-0 non-conference shutout over Beloit on Friday at Warriors Soccer Field.
Zarling broke a scoreless match in the 31st minute when she scored unassisted to give the Warriors (3-1-0) a 1-0 lead. Nearly a minute later, she netted her second goal of the night, this time assisted from senior
Ella Miller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) for a 2-0 advantage.
Freshman
Emily Comaris (Milwaukee, Wis.) capped off the first half scoring in the 38th minute with her first career goal.
Junior
Elle Doninger (Grayslake, Ill.) scored the first of three goals in a three-minute span in the 66th minute, her first of the season. Freshman
Alaena Zastrow (De Pere, Wis.) converted a penalty kick in the 67th minute for her first career goal, and Miller rounded out the scoring the 69th minute with an assist from freshman
Ginny Shade (Thornton, Colo.).
WLC out-shot the Buccaneers 22-7, including 10-3 in shots on goal. Wisconsin Lutheran also doubled up BC in corner kicks, 6-3. Doninger led all players with five shots. Sophomore

Sam Schroeder (Brookfield, Wis.) each played 45 minutes in the net to combine for a clean sheet.
Natalie Ortiz tallied three shots for Beloit (1-4-1).
