LAKE FOREST, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College was edged out 1-0 by Lake Forest in a non-conference game on Saturday at Mohr Field.
The Warriors (3-2-0) had a scoring chance in the eighth minute of the match when senior
Titus Kostrzewa's (Wauwatosa, Wis.) shot was stopped by the Foresters goalkeeper. It was WLC's only shot of the first half.
LFC broke through with the game's lone goal in the 28th minute when Peter Cirbo converted a penalty kick.Â
Wisconsin Lutheran registered two second-half shots, but was unable to answer with an equalizer.
Lake Forest out-shot the Warriors 13-3, including a 4-1 edge in shots on goal. WLC collected two corner kicks, compared to four for the Foresters.

Tony Bedolla (Joliet, Ill.) each tallied a shot for Wisconsin Lutheran. Senior
Puma Galvan (Racine, Wis.) made three saves.
