MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College wrapped up a 4-1 homestand with a 3-0 non-conference sweep over Beloit on Friday at Time of Grace Center.
The Warriors (7-7), who hit a season-best .429 for their second highest hitting percentage in program history, won all four matches on their homestand by a 3-0 final.
WLC trailed 8-7 in the opening set before a 9-1 scoring run turned the tables on the way to a 25-14 win. Wisconsin Lutheran jumped out to a 10-3 lead in set two and led 23-8 before maintaining the 15-point set win at 25-10. The Warriors scored the first nine points of the third set and once again built a set-high 15-point lead before maintaining that margin with an identical 25-10 victory.

Hannah Vriezen (Marion, Iowa) led WLC with nine kills for a .692 hitting percentage. Junior
Kayla Wigley (Milwaukee, Wis.) was right behind with eight kills. Senior
Karah Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) tallied 16 assists, a career-high five service aces, and six digs. Freshman
Hannah Rood (Burnsville, Minn.) chipped in with 10 assists. Senior
Amahra Matthai (Plover, Wis.) and freshman
Madison Luebke (Valders, Wis.) posted three total blocks each. Senior
Kylee Gnabasik (Jefferson, Wis.) paced all players with nine digs.
Lizzie Paschal led the Buccaneers (1-11) with three kills and eight digs.Â
