Herried Collects Third Career NACC Weekly Award

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This is Herried's third career conference weekly award.

Herried finished seventh of 142 runners on Saturday at the Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Municipal Golf Course. The graduate student, who was third among collegiate competitors, posted a season-best 8K time of 25:10.3, just over a second off his personal best from the same event a season ago. The Warriors placed second of seven scoring teams at the event.

WLC competes at the Private College Championships on Saturday in Mequon. The 8K race is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
