FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College earned a 1-1 draw in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action against Marian on Wednesday at Smith Field.

Aiden Fitz (Madison, Wis.) scored his first collegiate goal in the 27th minute off an assist from sophomore
Rafael Galindo (Delavan, Wis.), giving the Warriors a 1-0 lead after a deep right-corner cross. The Sabres equalized in the 56th minute when Nathan Blazenko converted a penalty kick to tie the match at 1-1, which held through the final whistle.
MU outshot WLC 12-6, including an 8-4 edge in shots on goal. Wisconsin Lutheran held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Freshman
Jesus Ramirez Pabon (Milwaukee, Wis.) led the Warriors (3-10-4, 2-5-3 NACC) with two shots and was one of four players to post a shot on frame. Sophomore
Owen Gault (Moline, Ill.) made seven saves in goal for WLC.
Marian (4-9-3, 2-6-2 NACC) was led by Szymon Kielar with three shots, while Brayden Johnson and Mohamed Abbad had two shots on goal apiece. Tyler Hall and Connor Farrell combined for three saves for the Sabres.
