WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished sixth with 150 points on Saturday at the 25th-annual Warrior Invitational at Greenfield Park.
Freshman
Vaughn Miller's (West Allis, Wis.) 18th-place finish paced the Warriors with a season-best 8K time of 28:46.9. Senior
Jack Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) was 29th with a time of 29:39.0, and senior
Michael Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) was 31st with a time of 29:50.4. Freshman
Will Kesting (Neosho, Wis.) was 45th with a time of 30:46.5, junior
Tyler Kleinhans (Fall Creek, Wis.) was 53rd with a time of 31:24.2, senior
Hunter Greer (Clinton, Wis.) was 65th with a time of 32:47.0, and freshman
Anders Gabb (Los Angeles, Calif.) was 69th with a season-best time of 33:24.2.
Wisconsin Track Club placed four runners in the top seven to win the invitational with 29 points. Mason Weber of Wisconsin Track Club won the 97-runner 8K race with a time of 26:28.1.
WLC competes next Saturday at the Gene Davis Invitational at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton. The men's 8K race starts at 12 p.m.
