MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College had five players receive All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference honors for the 2025 baseball season, it was announced on Thursday as the postseason awards were released.
Sophomore
Ian Rintelman (Muskego, Wis.) was named Second Team All-NACC, while seniors
Matt Brissette (Mukwonago, Wis.),
Elijah Shevey (Muskego, Wis.),
Noah Zaccanti (Geneva, Ill.), and sophomore
Colt Ratliff (Oxford, Ga.) received Honorable Mention recognition.
Rintelman, an outfielder, is the first Warrior to earn Second Team All-NACC honors in 10 years. Starting all 37 games played, he led WLC in several offensive categories, including batting average (.367), slugging percentage (.565), runs scored (34), hits (54), runs batted in (41), homeruns (5), total bases (83), and sacrifice flies (3). The two-time NACC Student-Athlete of the Week compiled a team season-high 18-game hitting streak from March 10-April 12. This is Rintelman's first career All-NACC honor.
Brissette, a right-handed pitcher, made 10 appearances including seven starts on the mound for Wisconsin Lutheran. He led the starting pitching staff with a 5.52 earned run average and was third on the team with 45.2 innings pitched. Brissette, who posted a 2-4 record with 21 strikeouts, earns his first career All-NACC award.
Shevey, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, led all Warriors hurlers in innings pitched (50.1), strikeouts (41), and starts (9). He tossed his first career complete game on March 26 at Edgewood and tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts April 1 at Concordia Wisconsin. At the plate, Shevey was fourth on the team with a .409 slugging percentage and fifth with a .333 batting average. He finished with 22 hits, 12 runs scored, and eight runs batted in. This is the first career All-NACC accolade for Shevey.
Zaccanti, a catcher, was second on WLC's squad with a .349 batting average. Starting all 33 games played, he was third in runs batted in (23), fourth in hits (45), and fifth in slugging percentage (.388) and total bases (50). This is Zaccanti's first career NACC postseason honor.
Ratliff, a designated hitter, started all 35 games played. He led Wisconsin Lutheran in home runs (5) and triples (3), finished second in slugging percentage (.564), runs scored (33), runs batted in (30), and total bases (75), third in hits (45) and doubles (9), and fourth in batting average (.338). This is the first career All-NACCÂ honor for Ratliff.Â
The Warriors finished their 2025 season 14-24 overall and 9-15 in the NACC. The conference win total is WLC's highest since winning 11 league games in 2013.
