Warriors back in action tomorrow against Elmhurst and Anderson (IN)

ALBION, Mich. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College opened its 2025 women's volleyball season on Friday with a 3–0 loss to host Albion at the Albion Invitational inside Kresge Gymnasium. The Britons won by set scores of 25–5, 25–12, and 25–13.

Albion (1-0) came out fast in the opening set, racing to a 13–2 lead and never looking back in a 25–5 win. Carly Frank and Kayda Herrick paced the Britons' attack during the run, combining for nine opening-set kills as the hosts hit a match-high .480 in the first set.

The Warriors (0-1) settled in during the second set, trading points early to knot the score at 6–6. Albion responded with a 9–2 run to build separation before closing the set 25–12.

The third set followed a similar pattern as WLC kept it close early, trailing just 5–3, before Albion used strong serving from Paige Williamson and steady hitting from Frank to take control in a 25–13 final.
