NEW ULM, Minn. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College rolled to a 4-0 non-conference victory over Martin Luther on Sunday at Martin Luther Soccer Pitch, improving to 2-0 on the young season.
The Warriors controlled possession throughout, outshooting the Knights 36-10 and earning 10 corner kicks while not allowing one on the defensive end.
WLC struck first in the 22nd minute when sophomore
Emma Adema (Sheboygan, Wis.) netted her second goal of the season off an assist from sophomore
Ava Zarling (Jackson, Wis.) to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break.

Alaena Zastrow (De Pere, Wis.) buried a pass from sophomore
Ginny Shade (Thornton, Colo.) to make it 2-0. Adema doubled her tally in the 54th minute, finishing off a feed from Zastrow, and Shade capped the scoring three minutes later with her first goal of the year.
Defensively, junior
Kallista Street (Kenosha, Wis.) earned the win in net with two saves over 71 minutes before freshman
Ella Malliet (Burlington, Wis.) closed out the shutout.
Zarling paced the Warriors' relentless attack with nine shots, including seven on goal, while Adema and Zastrow combined for three goals and an assist.
