DE PERE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College fell 3-1 to St. Norbert in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action on Wednesday at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (5-4-0, 3-0-0 NACC) struck first in the 35th minute when Hayden Dunn scored off a setup from Dominic Lagona. SNC doubled its lead in the 58th minute as Joe Lewcock converted on an assist from Everett Saeger.
The Warriors (1-6-2, 0-1-1 NACC) cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 78th minute when freshman
Caleb Dukic (Franklin, Wis.) found the back of the net off an impressive bicycle kick, assisted by sophomore
Chris Aparicio (Des Plaines, Ill.). The hosts sealed the result in the 87th minute when Saeger tallied his second goal of the season with assists from Dunn and Yosef Navarro.
St. Norbert held a narrow 13-10 advantage in total shots, with both teams placing seven on target. WLC sophomore goalkeeper
Aaron Lambert (Green Bay, Wis.) made four saves, while SNC's Jackson Kiszka stopped five shots.
