Connor Heezen (Pulaski, Wis.) and junior
Cameron Borchert (Loveland, Colo.) fell 6-0 to Ryder Broadbridge and Andrew Hoffmann. The No. 2 tandem of senior
TaDarion Perkins (Milwaukee, Wis.) and sophomore
Myles Harris (Milwaukee, Wis.) was defeated 6-3 by Jon Olafsson and Marek Woytasik, while junior
Aidan Mattek (Appleton, Wis.) and freshman
Zach Nelson (Watertown, Wis.) dropped a 6-1 decision at No. 3 doubles to Ryan Casey and Justin Hutchcroft.
In singles play, the Warriors (0-10, 0-4 NACC) picked up their lone victory at No. 3. Perkins rallied after dropping the first set to defeat Hoffmann in a three-set battle, 5-7, 6-1, 10-6.
EU claimed the remaining five singles flights in straight sets. Heezen was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1, and Borchert fell 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2. At No. 4, Harris dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision, while Mattek (No. 5) and Nelson (No. 6) were both swept 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0, respectively.
WLC will close out its 2026 home schedule on Saturday against St. Norbert (7-11, 3-1 NACC) at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club in Jackson.
