MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College's Krauss-Miller-Lutz Outdoor Athletic Complex will serve as the host site for the City of Wauwatosa's annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration on Saturday, July 4.
The fireworks display, coordinated by the Wauwatosa Civic Celebration Commission in partnership with the City of Wauwatosa and Wisconsin Lutheran College, will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from Neumann Family Baseball Field, with the field closed to the public during the event for safety.
The stadium gates will open at approximately 7 p.m., with the west side football stadium bleachers serving as the preferred viewing location. Fans are also welcome to watch from the football field and adjacent soccer field by bringing their own chairs or blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase inside the stadium.
"We're excited to partner with Wauwatosa for this year's Independence Day celebration," said Wisconsin Lutheran College Director of Athletics
Jeremiah Hoffmann. "Our Outdoor Athletic Complex is a tremendous venue for community events, and we're honored to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for families as they celebrate the Fourth of July."
Parking will be available in the Outdoor Athletic Complex lot, with additional nearby parking options provided by the City of Wauwatosa. The city has also designated several alternative viewing locations for those wishing to watch the fireworks from nearby parking areas.
Guests attending the celebration should note that alcohol and personal fireworks are prohibited at the event. Restrooms inside the stadium and portable restrooms will be available for attendees. Accessible parking near the stadium is limited, and guests with mobility concerns are encouraged to arrive early.
Additional information, including parking locations, viewing areas, and street closures, is available through the
