MANKATO, Minn. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw with Bethany Lutheran College in a non-conference game on Saturday to close out the 2007 season.

The Vikings got on the scoreboard first when they netted an early first half goal in the first minute of the game. The score remained 1-0 in favor of Bethany Lutheran as the first half came to an end.

The game stayed 1-0 until the final minute of regulation when the Warriors tied the game up at one in the 89th minute as Amy Enter (New Ulm, Minn./Minnesota Valley Lutheran) found the back of the net off of an assist from Meta Kolander (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran).

The teams played two overtime periods, but it wasn't enough time to crown a winner as Wisconsin Lutheran tied for the second time this year.

Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) finished with 11 saves in goal for WLC, who totaled 12 shots in the game, six of which came off the foot of Kolander.

Wisconsin Lutheran finishes its 2007 season with an overall record of 2-16-2 and 2-10 in the Northern Athletics Conference.
