WLC Women's Soccer upended by Dominican

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team was blanked by the Dominican University Stars 4-0 in a Northern Athletics Conference game on Tuesday night at Warrior Field.

Dominican's Mayra Camacho, who added an assist later in the game, put the Stars on the scoreboard at the 4:15 mark of the first half. The Stars added their second goal of the first period with 28:58 gone by for a 2-0 lead. The game remained 2-0 at the midway point.

Nallely Arreola added a pair of goals in the second half to seal the win for Dominican (7-1, 6-0 NAC).

Catie Schultz (Green Bay, Wis./N.E.W. Lutheran) tallied the lone shot attempt in the game for the Warriors. Bri Lazzaroni (Lake Geneva, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) made 17 saves for WLC in her first collegiate start as a goalkeeper.

Wisconsin Lutheran (1-9, 1-3 NAC) hosts Marian University on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Warrior Field. The game is part of a doubleheader with the men's team.
