MILWAUKEE - Benedictine University scored all three of its goals in the first half en route to claiming a 3-0 Northern Athletics Conference victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College on Tuesday night in WLC's final home game of the season at Warrior Field.

The Warriors fell behind 1-0 at 13:47 when Melissa Swanson found the back of the net from a Rachel Wilson corner kick. Wilson followed with her own goal at 23:07 to put the visitors up 2-0. BU tallied its final goal of the match at the 36:26 mark after Wilson connected with Rosa Padilla again on a corner kick.

WLC shutout the Eagles in the second half, marking back-to-back games that the Warriors have held their opponent scoreless in the second period, but had a tough time getting shots off. Junior Meta Kolander (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) attempted both of WLC's shots in the match. Fellow junior Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) accumulated 10 saves.

Wilson recorded a game-high eight of Benedictine's (4-10, 4-6 NAC) 26 shots in the contest. Goalkeeper Melissa Hernandez made one save to post the shutout.

The Warriors honored their only senior, Brittany Peters (Elkhorn, Wis./Elkhorn), prior to the start of the match.

Wisconsin Lutheran (4-13, 2-9 NAC) plays its final game of the 2009 season on Saturday when it travels to Mequon, Wis., to take on conference rival Concordia University Wisconsin at 1 p.m.
