WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran
College men's track & field team concluded the indoor portion
of its schedule by competing in the UW-Whitewater Karl Schlender
Last Chance Meet on Friday at the Kachel Fieldhouse.
Junior Dominique Johnson (Milwaukee, Wis./Vincent) placed second
in the triple jump with a mark of 14.22 meters. He also broke the
school record in the long jump with a mark of 6.73 meters for fifth
place. Five Warriors competed in events on the night, but team
scores were not kept.
Wisconsin Lutheran will await word to see if any of its
student-athletes will qualify for the NCAA Division III Indoor
Championship, which takes place March 13-14 in Terre Haute, Ind.
WLC opens its outdoor season on Saturday, March 28 by hosting its
own invitational at Raabe Stadium.
