MILWAUKEE - Karis Rogers netted a first-half hat trick to send the Maranatha Baptist Bible College Crusaders past the WLC women's soccer team 5-0 on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Athletics Conference game at Warrior Field.

Maranatha (2-4, 1-2 NAC) scored all four of its first-half goals after the 25th minute of the opening period. The Crusaders received a trio of goals from Rogers and another from Emily Dow as Wisconsin Lutheran found itself trailing 4-0 at halftime.

WLC came out much stronger in the second half, allowing only eight shots, compared to the 21 it allowed in the first half. The Crusaders tallied their fifth and final goal of the match with 17:10 left to play.
