CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - Wisconsin Lutheran
College began its 2010 men's outdoor track & field season on
Saturday by competing in the J. Owen Huntsman Relays hosted by
Wabash College.
The Warriors sent three of their upperclassmen in seniors Tyler
Schroeder (Sparta, Wis./Bangor), Jake Jaehnke (Sheboygan,
Wis./North) and junior Blake Miller (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin
Lutheran) to compete in the five-team relay meet.
Jaehnke, Schroeder and Miller, along with the assistance of
women's student-athletes Bri Stein (Poynette, Wis./Luther
Preparatory) and Sarah Hudson (Monroe, Wis./Monroe), competed in
the 4x400, 4x800 and distance medley relays. Miller also competed
in the 400-meter hurdles where he finished with a time of
1:07.85.
WLC finished the meet with 14 points for fifth lace. Taylor
University accumulated 188 points to place first in the final team
standings.
Wisconsin Lutheran will host its first of three home meets, the
Warrior Invitational, next Saturday, March 27 at Raabe Stadium.
Events are slated to get underway at 10:30 a.m.
