MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
men's track & field team finished tied for seventh out of 10
teams at the Warrior Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Raabe
Stadium.
The Warriors were led by freshman Josh Stodola (Denmark,
Wis./Denmark) who accounted for 14 out of Wisconsin Lutheran's 42
points. He was also a member of two scoring relays. Stodola placed
second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.35, which broke a
school record. He also finished third in the 110-meter hurdles by
posting a time of 15.80, just .04 of a second away from setting
another school record.
Stodola also teamed up with sophomore Dan Tilly (West Bend,
Wis./West), freshman Jorge Mora (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton) and
junior Blake Miller (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) as they
finished third in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:47.58.
Tilly also finished eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of
55:11 and eighth in the javelin throw with a distance of 40.88
meters.
Freshman Lamont Anderson (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton) tossed a
distance of 11.48 meters in the shot put which was good for an
eighth-place finish.
The Warriors scored 42 points which tied UW-Parkside for seventh
place at the 10-team invite. Harper College finished in first place
with 157 points and Benedictine University followed in second with
118 points.
Wisconsin Lutheran will next be in action April 10 at the
Boston-Moon Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
