NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Wisconsin Lutheran
College men's track & field team traveled to Nashville, Tenn.,
over the weekend to compete in Boston-Moon Track & Field
Classic hosted by Tennessee State University.
The Warriors, who competed against a number of NCAA Division I
teams under sunny skies, received personal bests from juniors Chris
Martin (Grapevine, Texas/Christian) and Sean Gogerty (Minnetonka,
Minn./Minnetonka) in both the 1500 and 3000 meters. Martin posted a
time of 4:58.01 in the 1500 and 10:58.32 in the 3000, while Gogerty
recorded times of 5:02.23 and 10:59.02 in the 1500 and 3000,
respectively.
Junior Blake Miller (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and
senior Jake Jaehnke (Sheboygan, Wis./North) also competed in the
1500 meter run and finished with times of 4:38.27 and 5:03.03,
respectively.
Senior Tyler Schroeder (Sparta, Wis./Bangor) competed in the 800
meters, where he finished with a time of 2:10.27.
Wisconsin Lutheran will host its second home meet of the season,
the Warrior Relays, next Saturday, April 17 at the Raabe Stadium.
The meet gets underway at 11 a.m.
