WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran
College men's track & field team recorded three season-bests
Friday at the five-team, non-scoring UW-Whitewater Rex Foster
Open.
Freshman Nick Biancuzzo (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Milwaukee
Lutheran) achieved his fastest time in the 800-meter run (2:03.14)
this season after he finished fourth of eight in the event. Senior
Blake Miller (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) also reached a
personal-best in the same event with a time of 2:05.23. Senior Sean
Gogerty (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka) raced to a personal-best in
the 5000-meter run with his time of 18:10.66.
Freshman Malachi Wallander (Menasha, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran)
competed in both the pole vault (3.35 meters) and javelin (31.69
meters). Freshman Nathan Boerneke (Fox Lake, Wis./Winnebago
Lutheran) finished with a time of 17.32 in the 110-meter hurdles,
while senior Chris Martin (Grapevine, Texas/Christian) totaled a
time of 4:47.39 in the 1500-meter run.
Wisconsin Lutheran returns to Raabe Stadium next Saturday, April
16 for its first home meet of the season, the Warrior Relays.
