Warriors Compete At NAC Outdoor Championships

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed at the 2013 Northern Athletics Conference Outdoor Championships Friday and Saturday at Raabe Stadium. The Warriors finished seventh out of nine teams with 45 points.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Ryan George (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) won the event with a time of 15.45 seconds. Nathan Boerneke (Fox Lake, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran) placed third overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 56.19 seconds.

Mike Reeves (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) sprinted to a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.02 seconds.

Isacc Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) finished second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:48.02. He continued his impressive weekend as he finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:55.22. BJ Ropel (Mayville, Wis./Mayville) also finished seventh in the same event with a time of 16:17.78.

Reeves finished the Warriors' scoring by leaping his way to a third-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 13.16 meters.

Benedictine University won the NAC Outdoor Championships with 172.50 total points, out-distancing runner-up Milwaukee School of Engineering's 149.50 points.

Wisconsin Lutheran will next compete May 9-10 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at the Jay & Dot Buikema Track in Naperville, Ill.
