KENOSHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team opened its indoor season by competing at the Carthage Private College Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center. The Warriors finished 11th overall with a team score of 9.0 points.
Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) ran to fourth place in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:23.91. Sam Wallace (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) finished ninth in the event with a time of 9:49.09.
Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) ran the mile in 4:36.87 to take home fifth place.
Andrew Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) captured ninth place in the shot put with a throw of 12.59 meters.
Colin Sheahan competed in the long jump and recorded a distance of 5.06 meters. He also ran the 200 meters in a time 26.35.
Carthage won its home meet with a score of 173.
Wisconsin Lutheran returns to action at the Parkside Classic February 8 in Somers.
