MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team scored 42 points to place eighth out of 12 teams at the Warrior Invitational Saturday at Raabe Stadium.
Isaac Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:47.68.
Tommy Jones (Delavan, Wis./Delavan-Darien) finished third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.28. He was also a member of the distance medley relay team, including Sam Wallace (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran), Danny Hafenstein (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran), and Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North), that crossed the line in a time of 11:00.52 to finish second. Jones took ninth in the javelin with a throw of 38.68 meters.
In the 10,000-meter run, Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) grabbed second place with a time of 33:39.93.
Jodat ran to sixth place in the mile run with a time of 4:47.17. Hafenstein finished in 4:52.86 to take ninth.
Andrew Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.05 meters.
The sprint medley relay team of Andrew Guenther (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc), Colin Sheahan (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg), Nathan Boerneke (Fox Lake, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran), and Alexander Kirk (Waukesha, Wis./North) finished sixth with a time of 1:42.80.
St. Norbert won the meet with a score of 177 points.
Wisconsin Lutheran will compete at the St. Norbert Twilight Meet Thursday at 3 p.m. at Schneider Stadium in De Pere.
