PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed Saturday at the non-scoring UW-Platteville Invitational at Williams Fieldhouse.
Senior Mike Reeves (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) recorded Wisconsin Lutheran's best finish of the day after he placed fifth out of 55 sprinters in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.09. Reeves later finished 15th of 56 in the 200-meter dash (23.94) and 14th of 20 in the long jump (5.62 meters).
Senior Danny Hafenstein (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) finished 12th out of 27 in the mile run with a time of 4:39.40. He also came in 19th in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:57.86.
Junior Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) took 13th out of 39 in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:34.11.
Wisconsin Lutheran is back in action next Friday for the Panther Tune-Up at the Klotsche Center. Events are set to get underway at 4 p.m.
