Warriors Cap Regular Season At Panther Tune-Up

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed at the non-scoring Panther Tune-Up Friday night at the Klotsche Center.

Mike Reeves (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) recorded Wisconsin Lutheran's top finish of the night after placing fourth out of 46 sprinters in the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.04. Reeves also competed in the triple jump and posted a leap of 11.75 meters.

Isaac Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) placed sixth out of 12 in the 3,000 meters recording a time of 9:16.13. Sam Wallace (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) finished ninth at 9:29.52 in the same event.

Andrew Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) had a personal-best in the weight throw with a toss of 12.59 meters to finish eighth. Stumpner also competed in the shot put and placed 10th with a distance of 11.95 meters.

Danny Hafenstein (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) took 10th out of 21 in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:05.01

Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) paced the Warriors in the mile with a time of 4:38.43 for 12th out of 26 runners. Jordan Donart (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) (4:46.31), Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) (4:50.79), Kyle McBee (Monroe, Mich./Lutheran South) (5:01.02), and Josh Eickhoff (Manitowoc, Wis./Lutheran) (5:13.52) also competed in the event for WLC. Donart, McBee, and Eickhoff all set personal-best times in the mile.

Jared Bruemmer (Hanover Park, Ill./Hoffman Estates) set personal-bests in the long jump (5.78 meters) and 60-meter dash (7.45). Bruemmer also ran in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.26..

Mitchell Schneider posted a personal-best time of 7.85 in the 60-meter dash. Colin Sheahan (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) turned in a 56.80 400 meters for a personal-best.

Jeremy Fierros (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central) competed in the pole vault and had a mark of 3.20 meters. Aaron King participated in the shot put and posted a throw of 10.70 meters.

The Warriors' next event will come Saturday at the NACC Indoor Championships from the Petretti Fieldhouse in Kenosha. Events begin at 10:30 a.m.
