Box Score FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team continued play at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic Thursday with a thrilling come-from-behind victory, scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth as Brett Youngbeck's (Brown Deer, Wis./Brown Deer) single gave the Warriors an 11-10 walk-off win over Gettysburg (Pa.).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Gettysburg struck first in the top of the third as Connor Tom and Will Anderson hit back-to-back triples for a 2-0 lead.
- In the fourth, Jake Grollo (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) singled to right to score Brandon Mantz (West Bend, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) and Brock Vredeveld (Waterloo, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) to tie the game at 2-2.
- The Bullets took a 4-2 lead in the next frame on a pair of sacrifice flies by Anderson and Harry Klimowicz.
- The Warriors tied the game once again with singles by Youngbeck and Mantz to knot the score at 4-4.
- In the sixth, Mike Kielbasa reached on a fielder's choice to plate Andy Kelly to put Gettysburg in front 5-4.
- Aaron Roeseler (Watertown, Wis./Luther Preparatory) singled to second to tie the game at 5-5.
- In the seventh, the Bullets scored five runs on five hits with RBIs from Kelly, Shawn Moffitt, and Cory Karagjozi.
- Wisconsin Lutheran got two back in the bottom of the inning. The Warriors loaded the bases and used a fielder's choice by Grollo and a passed ball to score Mantz to cut the Gettysburg lead to 10-7.
- Youngbeck singled to left to score Roeseler to make it 10-8 heading into the ninth.
- Jacob Smrz (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) had two Bullets runners on base in the top of the inning but got Scott Zanghellini to fly out to end the threat.
- In the bottom of the ninth, pinch-hitter Zack Skog (Hampshire, Ill./Hampshire) was hit by a pitch and Josiah Boucher (Menasha, Wis./Menasha) singled to place two runners on base. Connor Vredeveld (Waterloo, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) popped out to first and Boucher was forced out at second to put two away with runners at first and third.
- Sam Mattheis (Rosendale, Wis./Laconia) singled to right center to score Skog. The Warriors then executed a double steal as Mattheis stole second and Roeseler stole home to cut the lead to 10-9.
- Youngbeck then singled down the left field line to score Mattheis from second for the 11-10 walk-off victory.
QUICK HITS
- Wisconsin Lutheran had two players record four hits as Mattheis went 4-for-6 and Mantz was 4-for-5.
- Youngbeck was 3-for-6 with three RBI as the middle of the order had a combined 14 hits. The Warriors had 18 hits as a team.
- Grollo also had three RBI on the day.
- Tom was 5-for-6 for Gettysburg with an RBI and two runs scored.
- Starter Noah Schriefer (San Diego, Calif./California Lutheran) tossed 5.0 solid innings for WLC allowing five runs on four hits with five walks and two strikeouts.
- Smrz picked up his first collegiate win, throwing 2.1 innings and allowing no runs on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
- Luke Lawrence took the loss for the Bullets in 1.1 innings pitched as he allowed three runs on four hits.
