HILLSDALE, Mich. – Three members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed Thursday night at the 49th Annual Hillsdale Gina Relays on the Ken Herrick Track.
Junior Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) finished 18th overall out of an impressive field of 99 runners in the 5,000 meter run with a personal-best time of 15:05.77. Senior Sam Wallace (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) narrowly missed out on his personal best time in the same event, completing the 5K race in 16:23.21.
Senior Isaac Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) raced in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 33:05.57 to placed third out of six competitors.
Wisconsin Lutheran will compete Saturday at the Private College Championships hosted by St. Norbert at Schneider Stadium. Field events begin at 10:30 a.m. with running events to follow at 11:30 a.m.
