Box Score CARLINVILLE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Helen Joyce (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) scored three goals and Megan Henning (Grafton, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) added two more to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team to a 6-0 shutout win over Blackburn on Wednesday in non-conference action at Blackburn Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Joyce found the back of the net early in the first half scoring in the 7' off of the assist by Abby Himm (Grand Blanc, Mich./Homeschooled) to give the Warriors the 1-0 lead.
- In the 21', it was Joyce again scoring after beating the defender to give WLC the early 2-0 lead over the Beavers.
- Olivia Scheiber (Watertown, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) continued the scoring for the Warriors in the 30' when she fired a shot past the keeper for her second strike of the season which put WLC ahead 3-0.
- Less than two minutes after Scheiber's goal, Henning netted her third score of the season putting WLC up 4-0 in the opening half.
- With just 20 seconds left in the first half Mady Hirsch (Jefferson, Wis./Luther Preparatory) found Henning for her second goal of the game which gave the Warriors a commanding 5-0 lead at the half.
- In the second half, Joyce completed her first hat trick in a Warriors' uniform when she scored an unassisted goal in the 58' for the 6-0 advantage.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Warriors out-shot the Beavers 31-8 including 14-4 in shots on goal in the match.
- Joyce netted three goals, while leading the Warriors with seven shots while only playing 23 minutes.
- Henning added two goals on her only two shots of the match. Scheiber found the back of the net once tonight for her second goal of the year.
- Hailey Krause (Wauwatosa, Wis./Pius XI) played all 90:00 minutes in the net for the Warriors and saved four shots for her second shutout of the season.
- WLC, which has already matched its win total from last season, has won both of its games this season by a combined score of 13-0.
