Box Score 2 BELOIT, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team rallied from a three-run deficit in the seventh inning of game one on Sunday to steal a 6-5 win from Beloit at The Ballpark at Strong Stadium. The Buccaneers won the nightcap over the Warriors in seven innings, 16-6.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS
- The Warriors found themselves in an early hole as the host Bucs scored twice in the opening inning on just one hit. An RBI double in the second gave Beloit a 3-0 lead through two innings.
- WLC scratched across single runs in the third and fourth innings from run-scoring singles by KJ Banse (Racine, Wis./St. Catherine's) and Jake Wiedower (St. Francis, Wis./St. Francis).
- The Buccaneers got both of those runs back in the fifth on an RBI single and sac fly for a 5-2 lead.
- Sid Lehman (Theresa, Wis./Mayville) reached on a two-out error with two on in the seventh that plated Banse as WLC trimmed its deficit to 5-3.
- Wisconsin Lutheran had its first three runners reach base in the eighth and scored those three runners to take a 6-5 lead. Brett Jakel's (Reeseville, Wis./Waterloo) infield single scored Wiedower, followed by RBI fielder's choice groundouts from Jake Schwall (West Allis, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and Banse.
- Four Warriors relievers combined to shutout the Buccaneers over the final 4.2 innings. Spencer Michaelis (Wauwatosa, Wis./East) earned the win in 2.2 innings of relief for starter Ben Veenstra (Evansville, Wis./Evansville). Noah Schriefer (San Diego, Calif./California Lutheran) retired the side in order in the ninth for his fifth save of the season.
- Banse and Wiedower led the Warriors' season-high 15-hit parade with three each. WLC stranded 10 runners on base, including two runners in four separate innings.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
- Wisconsin Lutheran took an early 1-0 lead in the nightcap when Ryan Stancl's (Bartlett, Ill./South Elgin) sac fly scored Schwall in the first.
- Beloit answered with three runs on just one hit in its half of the first for a 3-1 lead after one.
- The Bucs opened up a 6-1 lead in a third following a two-out, three-RBI double to center field.
- The Warriors cut their deficit in half in the fourth on a Kasey Zdroik (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) two-out, two-run single that plated Colton Tisch (Genoa City, Wis./Badger) and Curtis Engelbrecht (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Northland Lutheran).
- The hosts extended their lead to 8-3 in the fourth with an RBI double and sac fly.
- WLC refused to go away easily through as it scored three times in the fifth on back-to-back RBI doubles from Stancl and Wiedower and an RBI single from Engelbrecht for a 8-6 deficit.
- After scoring an unearned run in the sixth, the Bucs blew the game open in the seventh with seven runs on four hits and the game ended via run-rule.
- Banse, Engelbrecht, and Zdroik had two hits each in the nightcap for the Warriors, who had 10 hits in the game.
- Five Warriors pitchers combined to walk 11 Beloit batters.
FOR THE FOES
- Kam Sallee and Terrence Cribbs led the Bucs with three hits each in the opener. Mike Weeden suffered the loss in 4.0 innings of relief work, allowing three earned run on eight hits.
- Jalen Davis went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and a run scored for Beloit in game two, while Jeremy Dutton scored run runs. Luke Brennan allowed four earned runs on eight hits over 4.1 innings to earn the win on the mound.
