Jahns Wins 400 Meters At Dr. Keeler Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Three members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed Thursday and Friday at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central. No team scores were recorded at the two-day event.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jonah Jahns (Germantown, Wis.) topped the field of 44 competitors in the 400-meter dash posting a time of 48.25 good for first place. He remains ranked 14th in the event in NCAA Division III.
  • Joel Schamber (Wyoming, Mich.) competed in the 400-meter hurdles and was 15th out of 28 with a time of 57.18.
  • Brady Stuck (Germantown, Wis.) raced to a season best time of 16:43.07 in the 109-competitor 5,000-meter run.

UP NEXT

  • Select athletes will return to North Central next Wednesday and Thursday for their final last chance meet of the season, the Gregory Invitational. Events will get underway at 11:45 a.m. inside Benedetti–Wehrli Stadium.
