Jahns Qualifies For Saturday's 400 Meter Final

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jonah Jahns (Germantown, Wis.) has qualified for Saturday's 400 Meter final at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Roger Harring Stadium inside the Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Jahns entered the prelims of the 400 Meters seeded 17th out of 20 with a qualifying time of 48.05 seconds. The sophomore sprinter finished fourth in his heat and eighth overall with a school-record time of 47.48 seconds to earn a spot in Saturday's final. The three heat winners and the next six fastest times advanced to Saturday's final with the top eight placers earning All-American honors.

Saturday's 400 Meter final will be contested at 1:10 p.m. and can be watched live here.
