MEQUON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team suffered a pair of one-run walk-off losses Monday afternoon to the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons at Kapco Park. • The Warriors had their leadoff man on in the 10th, but a fielder's choice and a pair of strike outs ended any possible rally.

  • The Falcons jumped out to a 4-0 first-inning lead behind five hits for the early lead.
  • The Warriors plated their first run of the game in the second when Joey Tilley (Muskego, Wis.) reached on a fielder's choice then later scored after three wild pitches.
  • CUW added two more runs in the third on a pair of two-out RBI singles for a 6-1 lead.
  • WLC's offense erupted for eight runs in the fourth inning to take a 9-6 lead. Jack Schroeder (Bristol, Wis.), Schulenburg, Jake Schwall (West Allis, Wis.), Brannigan Hart (Davie, Fla.), and Sid Lehman (Theresa, Wis.) each had RBI hits in the inning.
  • Concordia Wisconsin got a run back in its half of the fourth on an RBI single for a 9-7 score.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran made it a three-run lead in the seventh after Schroeder drew a two-out, bases-loaded walk.
  • The hosts regained the lead at 11-10 in their half of the seventh after a two-run single and a pair of bases-loaded walks.

  • CUW had runners at the corners with two outs in the ninth when Jared Chesak reached on a fielding error that scored the game-winning run.
  • Hart led the Warriors with a 4-for-5, two-RBI performance at the plate, while Schwall and Schroeder also had two RBI.

  • Tyler Haffey went 3-for-4 for the Falcons in the 1-0 game one win. Charlie Rodriguez collected the lone RBI. Beau Wills pitched a scoreless 10th frame for his first win of the year. Johannes Haakenson finished 3-for-6 with two runs scored in game two. Niko Kutsulis earned the win after pitching the final scoreless inning of relief.
