Five Individuals, Relay Team Score For Warriors Saturday In Ripon

RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's indoor track & field team scored 28 points on its way to an 11th-place finish out of 18 teams on Saturday at the Dick Hendricks Invite hosted by Ripon.

• Junior Daniel Bronner (Hartland, Wis.) posted the Warriors' highest finish of the day, placing second out of 15 runners in the 3,000 Meter Run with a time of 9:22.68.
• Sophomore Michael Sheffler (Appleton, Wis.) recorded a fourth-place finish out of 24 competitors in the Weight Throw with a mark of 13.24 meters.
• Junior Sam Boone (Mindoro, Wis.) sprinted to a personal-best time of 23.74 seconds in the 200 Meter Dash on his way to fifth place out of 43 sprinters in the event.
• Sophomore Sam Rodmyre (Federal Way, Wash.) was also fifth in the Pole Vault after clearing a height of 3.55 meters.
• Sophomore Keith Bowling (Jefferson, Wis.) scored in two events for WLC by finishing seventh in the 60 Meter Dash with a finals time 7.29 seconds, and eighth in the Long Jump with a distance of 6.33 meters.
• Wisconsin Lutheran's 4x200 Meter Relay of Boone, freshmen Jade Burge (Woodland, Ala.) and Jalen Harris (Chicago, Ill.), and senior Jared Traver (Janesville, Wis.) was fifth in time of 1:40.31.

• "Overall, a great weekend for the team, but Becca (600), Leah (Long Jump), and Kendra (200) stole the spotlight with their school records. We had 33 PR's, but easily could have had another 10 with athletes only centimeters or milliseconds off PR's. This is the point of the season we make a slight adjustment here and there to set ourselves up for a big meet at conference." - Head Coach Eric Kramer
