Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Senior Alex VanCrete (Green Lake, Wis.) scored a game-high 17 points to lead five players in double figures, as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team cruised to a 96-59 non-conference win over Martin Luther on Tuesday night inside the Recreation Complex. The win was the Warriors' 11th consecutive home victory.

- The Warriors scored the first six points of the game and never looked back as they bolted out to a 27-6 lead over the Knights with 12:58 left in the first half. VanCrete capped the fast start with one of six WLC first-half three-pointers.
- Wisconsin Lutheran pushed its lead over 20 points for the first time on a layup from sophomore Ryan Broeckel (Chilton, Wis.) to send the score to 46-24 with under five minutes to play until intermission.
- The Green and White closed the first half on a 10-0 run to take a 59-31 lead into halftime after shooting 60 percent in the opening 20 minutes. Both VanCrete and Broeckel led the Warriors with 11 points in the first half.
- WLC's lead never dropped below 27 points in the second half, as the hosts built a game-high 37-point lead under 0:30 seconds left on a layup from sophomore Noah Wiles (Renton, Wash.).
- VanCrete paced five players in double figures with a game-high 17 points, along with six rebounds and three assists.
- Sophomore Jacob Hefle (Germantown, Wis.) netted a career-high 15 points off the bench on 6-of-11 shooting with five assists.
- Sophomores Jacob Stoltz (Kewaskum, Wis.), Broeckel, and Grayson Goetz (Aurora, Ill.) rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12, 11, and 10 points, respectively.
- Senior Drew Bernhagen (Markesan, Wis.) also stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, five rebounds, and five assists.
- Wisconsin Lutheran, which shot 46.7 percent from the floor for the game, out-scored Martin Luther 46-24 in the paint and 24-9 off turnovers.
