Warriors Compete At Carroll Alumni Invitational

WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Carroll Alumni Invitational on Saturday, placing ninth at the Dennis Punches Track and Field Complex in Waukesha.

• Final Results: 9th of 11 (26 Points)
• Location: Dennis Punches Track and Field Complex, Waukesha, Wis.

• Junior Keith Bowling (Jefferson, Wis.) finished fifth in the 100-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 11.39 seconds. Bowling also finished third in the Triple Jump with a distance of 12.66 meters.
• Freshman Jacob Hefle (Germantown, Wis.) placed third out of 26 sprinters in the 200-meter dash behind a time of 24.03 seconds.
• In the 110-meter hurdles, sophomore Thomas Jungwirth III (Appleton, Wis.) posted a time of 17.68 seconds, good for fourth.
• Junior Sam Rodmyre (Federal Way, Wash.) placed fourth in the Pole Vault at 3.90 meters and also fifth in the Long Jump with a distance of 5.76 meters.

• "I think "content" is how I feel with our performances this weekend. Given the cold and rainy conditions, I think our student-athletes performed well and kept positive attitudes. Nineteen PR's in this weather is good, but we also found a lot of areas we can improve upon. We go into Easter weekend with a short but difficult training week then begin our push to the conference meet.
