(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team broke open a 1-1 tie in the first half by scoring three times within a span of just one minute and 19 seconds, as the Warriors snapped a two-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over Edgewood on Wednesday night at Reddan Park. Three different players scored in the game for WLC, including two goals from senior Jason Cano (Delevan, Wis.).

- The Warriors scored first in the 11th minute of the match when freshman Jesus Altamirano (Milwaukee, Wis.) netted his first goal of the year on an assist from sophomore Ben Meaux (Franklin, Wis.).
- The Eagles countered with their first goal of the game shortly after in the 13th minute to even the contest at 1-1.
- Cano put WLC back ahead in the 31st minute with the first of three straight goals in a span of just one minute and 19 seconds.
- Sophomore John Fossum (Milwaukee, Wis.) tallied his first collegiate goal in the 32nd minute on assists from Cano and sophomore Tony Bedolla (Joliet, Ill.).
- Cano capped the first-half scoring in the 33rd minute with his second goal of the match and ninth of the season to give Wisconsin Lutheran a 4-1 halftime lead.
- Edgewood cut its deficit in half with a goal in the 70th minute and added its third in the 88th minute before time ran out.
- The Green and White recorded 25 shots in the game and were led by Altamirano with six. Cano placed all three of his shots on frame.
- Freshman Bryce Beckley (Waterford, Wis.) stopped five shots in goal for the Warriors.
