MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Owen Gault (Moline, Ill.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of October 20-26, 2025, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This is Gault's first career NACC weekly award.
Gault combined for nine saves and allowed just one goal in 180:00 minutes last week for the Warriors, who tied Marian (1-1) and Dominican (0-0). The sophomore goalkeeper stopped seven shots against the Sabres on Wednesday, October 22, before securing his third shutout of the season with a pair of stops against the Stars on Saturday, October 25, as WLC earned its third point all-time against DU.
Wisconsin Lutheran (3-10-5, 2-5-4 NACC) concludes its regular season tomorrow at 7 p.m. when it hosts No. 25 Edgewood (13-1-2, 11-0-0 NACC) at Warriors Soccer Field. Live coverage links can be found at WLCSports.com.
