Box Score VERONA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute, but host Edgewood scored two unanswered goals on Wednesday night, as the Eagles edged the Warriors 2-1 in a NACC match at Reddan Park.

- The Warriors' second shot on target found the back of the net, as they took a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute on a goal from senior Miriam Carreno (San Antonio, Texas) from 15 yards away. Sophomore Carol Bedolla (Joliet, Ill.) assisted on the score.
- The Eagles evened the score five minutes later when their first shot of the match found the bottom right corner for a 1-1 tie.
- WLC recorded nine shots the rest of the half, including four more on frame, but the score remained 1-1 at halftime.
- The first shot attempt for Edgewood in the second half also found the back of the net, as the hosts took a 2-1 lead in the 56th minute.
- Wisconsin Lutheran had scoring chances in the 68th and 79th minutes, but shots from freshman Ella Miller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and junior Elena Velasquez (Milwaukee, Wis.) were stopped.
- The Green and White out-shot EC 24-8 for the match, including 10-3 in shots on target.
