ROCKFORD, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College is third of 10 scoring teams after the first two rounds of the 2022 NACC Championship played Saturday and Sunday at Aldeen Golf Club.
The Warriors, who are two shots back of second-place Marian and 12 ahead of fourth-place St. Norbert, shot a 370-371--741 over the first two rounds. Defending team champion Aurora leads the championship with a 324-331--655. The Spartans' Kallie Sakamoto leads the 54-player field with a 75-82--157.
Junior
Maddie O'Keefe (Erin, Wis.) leads WLC and is tied for ninth overall with an 87-94--181. Junior
Sarah Bridenhagen (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) is 12th with a 94-89--183, and senior
Charley Fleek (Albert Lea, Minn.) is tied for 15th with a 94-91--185.
Freshman
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) is tied for 18th with a 95-99--194, sophomore
Taylor Peterson (Beloit, Wis.) is tied for 22nd with a 101-97--198, and senior
Miranda Noon (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) is 40th with a 117-115--232.
Wisconsin Lutheran plays the final two rounds of the NACC Championship next Friday and Saturday, October 7-8, at Quit Qui Oc Golf Club in Elkhart Lake. Third round tee times begin at 10:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available at WLCSports.com.
