WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed eighth at the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, which was played Saturday through Monday at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club.
The Warriors carded rounds of 396, 379, and 367 for a 54-hole team total of 1,142. Aurora captured the team title with a three-round score of 932 (322-307-303), while Marian's Yinan Lu earned individual medalist honors with a nine-over-par 222 (76-75-71).
Senior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) paced WLC with a 27th-place finish after posting rounds of 87, 89, and 89 for a total of 265 (+52). Sophomore
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) and junior
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) tied for 38th with matching 290s (+77); Grover shot 102-98-90 while Wagner turned in scores of 100-95-95. Sophomore
Lucia Giurdanella (Downers Grove, Ill.) placed 44th with a 305 (+92) after rounds of 107, 97, and 101. Freshman
Claire Peterson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) (51st, 192) and senior
Brynn Boche (Ixonia, Wis.) (52nd, 225) rounded out the lineup with partial rounds over the three days.
Wisconsin Lutheran concludes its fall season and will return to competition in the spring portion of the 2025-2026 campaign.
