WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed 18th out of 22 teams at the Benedictine Fall Invitational on Wednesday at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club. The Warriors carded a team score of 387 in the one-round event.
Senior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) paced WLC with an 88, tying for 38th overall. Sophomore
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) followed with a 97 to tie for 81st. Sophomore
Lucia Giurdanella (Downers Grove, Ill.) was just behind with a 99, good for a tie for 87th. Freshman
Claire Peterson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) posted a 103 to tie for 94th, while sophomore
Claire Boche (Ixonia, Wis.) rounded out the lineup with a 130.
Aurora captured the team title with a 309, while Marian's Yinan Lu claimed medalist honors with a 3-over-par 74.
Wisconsin Lutheran competes next at the Midwest Region Fall Classic on September 19-20 at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville.
