(WLCSports.com) – Junior Carter Raabe (Mukwonago, Wis.) recorded three hits, including a triple, double, and two RBI as the Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team concluded its spring break trip at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic with a 13-4 victory over NCAA Division II St. Michael's on Friday morning at Park T. Pigott Memorial Stadium.

- After a quiet first inning for both teams, the Warriors offense struck first with three runs in the top of the second. Following a leadoff double from senior Nick Poblocki (Bartlett, Ill.) and an infield single from senior Matthew Schulenburg (Hampshire, Ill.), Raabe beat out an infield single to second base to plate Poblocki. Schulenburg came around to score a batter later on a fielder's choice RBI from junior Danny Cain (Jackson, Wis.). Freshman Noah Zaccanti (Geneva, Ill.) added a RBI of his own with a sacrifice fly to push WLC's advantage to 3-0.
- The Purple Knights responded with a pair of runs on three hits to cut their deficit to 3-2 after two innings.
- A two-out rally in the third inning capped off by an opposite-field double from Raabe with another runner scoring on a fielding error gave Wisconsin Lutheran a 5-2 advantage.
- St. Michael's added a run with a sacrifice fly and loaded the bases with two outs before sophomore Andrew Muffler (Waukesha, Wis.) got an infield popout to keep the Warriors' lead at 5-3 through four innings.
- WLC's offense broke the game open with a four-run fifth inning, capitalizing on four walks. With the bases loaded and just one out, a passed ball plated Raabe for the first run of the frame. Another walk reloaded the bases and Zaccanti collected a RBI with a walk of his own. Senior Ryan Dominick (Bartlett, Ill.) scored Zaccanti and Cain with a two-out, two-run double to center field to extend the lead to 9-3.
- After the first two batters reached base for the Green and White in the top of the sixth, the Warriors added another run on a fielding error by the Purple Knights. With two outs, senior Ethan Orcutt (East Dubuque, Ill.) added two more runs for Wisconsin Lutheran with a double to left field to score Cain and Schulenburg.
- WLC added a single tally in the eighth on a RBI groundout by Cain, scoring Raabe who tripled to left field the batter before. St. Michael's added a single run in the ninth but left a pair of runners on base to complete the 13-4 victory for the Green and White.
- Raabe led the Warriors offensively, finishing a home run shy of the cycle. Orcutt and Poblocki each added three hits for WLC, which collected 14 hits as a team. Five different Warriors had two RBI in the game.
- Freshman Tyler Danko (Milwaukee, Wis.) collected his first collegiate win, throwing 5.0 innings in relief and allowing just one run on three hits while striking out six Purple Knights.
