  • Edgewood scored three more runs in the fourth and a single tally in the fifth to add to its total.
  • WLC took advantage of two Eagles errors in the sixth inning to plate three runs. RBI single brought home sophomore Owen Zaskowski (Slinger, Wis.).
  • Freshman Tyler Danko (Milwaukee, Wis.) had two of the Warriors' five hits in the opener.

  • Wisconsin Lutheran began game two with three straight hits in the first inning. Junior Carter Raabe (Mukwonago, Wis.) doubled home Enevold, senior Ryan Dominick (Bartlett, Ill.) scored on a squeeze bunt by senior Matthew Schulenburg (Hampshire, Ill.), and Orcutt drove in Raabe with a RBI single through the left side. The Green and White held a 3-1 lead after the opening frame.
  • The Eagles capitalized on a two-out error in the second inning by hitting a three-run home run to grab a 4-3 lead.
  • The first two Warriors batters reached in the third, but both were left stranded with no runs to show for in the inning.
  • EC scored a single run in the fourth on two hits, but left the bases loaded as they held a 5-3 lead through three.
  • After leaving a pair of runners on in the fifth, WLC closed to within a run in the seventh inning when Dominick crossed home on Poblocki's fielder's choice groundout.
  • Edgewood added to its lead with two runs in the seventh and three more in the eighth for a six-run cushion.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran didn't go away quietly as it loaded the bases with one out in the ninth, and Schulenburg drove in two runs with his single to left field.
  • The Green and White out-hit the Eagles 11-8 in the nightcap. Raabe recorded a team-high three hits, while Enevold and Poblocki added two apiece. Schulenburg drove in half of the team's runs.
