GENEVA, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished seventh out of 19 teams on Saturday at the Spartan Classic hosted by Aurora at Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course.Â
The Warriors finished with 218 points to place behind DuPage's 207 points. North Central (Ill.) won the event with 19 points by placing five runners inside the top-seven. The Cardinals'Â Braden Nicholson won the 8K event with a time of 26:00.8.Â

Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) was WLC's top finisher, placing 41st out of 251 runners with a time of 27:43.0. Junior
Peyton Hartman (Montgomery, Ill.) was one spot behind in 42nd with a time of 27:46.3, freshman
Michael Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) placed 75th with a time of 28:33.6, sophomore
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed 82nd with a time of 28:43.9, and freshman
Josh Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) placed 97th with a time of 29:01.9.
The Warriors travel to Memphis, Tennessee next weekend for the Rhodes Invitational. The 8K race begins at 9 a.m. CT at Shelby Farms Park.
